Where are you licensed to practice?

Emily is licensed as a Nurse Practitioner with independent practice in the state of Nevada. She is also licensed as a nurse practitioner in California. At this time, Emily is physically seeing patients in Nevada and is able to do telemedicine consultations for patients located in NV only. CA visitors and residents in the Tahoe area seeking treatment may travel to our location in Incline Village for evaluation and treatment. Emily does not travel into CA for mobile visits at this time. Emily also has prescriptive authority and licensing through both NV & CA boards of pharmacy as well as nationally through the DEA (for controlled substances).

What are the prices of your services?

The rates of our mobile visits, telemedicine consultations, and in-office treatments vary based on length of visit and/or type of procedure or service provided. Please visit the individual pages for prices or call the office for more information.

How long is a typical visit?

Visit times vary based on the patient's issues and services being rendered. Initial illness/injury visits  are usually around 45-60 minutes. Follow-up visits may be shorter depending on what is being monitored. However, 45 minutes is allotted for each follow-up appointment. IV therapy appointments may run from 30-120 minutes depending on the volume and type of infusion. Regenerative therapies generally take a minimum of one hour. However, in-office visit times vary based on the treatment being rendered.

Do you take insurance?

We are a fee-for-service (cash only) practice and do not take insurance at this time. However, a detailed superbill (invoice) can be provided for you to submit to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement based on the "out-of-network" rates (not guaranteed).  We DO accept payment from HSA accounts.

We are unable to provide superbills for Medicare or Medicaid patients as Medicare and Medicaid do not allow reimbursement for cash services rendered by out-of-network providers if those services are covered in-network. Medicare patients must sign an ABN form prior to receiving services stating they understand they cannot seek reimbursement from Medicare for services rendered. Any attempt to seek reimbursement may be considered fraud and lead to loss of Medicare or Medicaid benefits.
